Bakalářská práce se věnuje vyobrazení totalitních režimů v románech Konec civilizace Aldouse Huxleyho a 1984 George Orwella. Důraz je kladen na způsoby, jakými režimy manipulují jedincem, a na projevy této manipulace.
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to compare and particularly contrast the approach to the totalitarian regimes depicted in Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World and George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four, in particular the ways these regimes control people and the impact of this treatment on individuals.
