Influence of fabric construction made of multifilament yarn on mechanical-physical properties of fabrics

Abstract:

Kapitola mechanicko-fyzikální vlastnosti je velmi rozsáhlý pojem a zahrnuje širokou škálu vlastností. Mechanické vlastnosti textilií jsou popsány jako odezva na mechanické působení vnějších sil. Jedná se o následující síly: tah, tlak, ohyb, krut a střih. Tato práce je zaměřena na analýzu pevnosti tkanin vyrobených ze skaných multifilamentů. V rámci rešeršní části diplomové práce jsou uvedeny přístupy modelování pevnosti a tažnosti různých autorů. Jedním z autorů zabývajícím se modelování pevnosti a tažnosti tkanin byl Peirce, jehož modely byly dále modifikovány jinými autory. Další autoři používají různé nástroje k modelování např. neuronové sítě, nebo se zakládají na statistice a pravděpodobnosti. Většina modelů vychází z geometrických vlastností tkanin (vazba, dostava, setkání atd.) a samotných vlastností přízí (pevnost, tažnost, tuhost atd.). Validace výsledků experimentálně naměřené pevnosti tkaniny vyrobené z multifilamentů s různou úrovní zákrutu bude srovnávána s teoreticky predikovanou pevností tkaniny dle modelu (Kovář [25]), který vychází ze součtu pevností vstupních přízí, v případě diplomové práce se jedná o vstupní multifilamenty s různou úrovní zákrutu v osnově i útku. V experimentální části bylo testováno 15 různých tkanin s různými dostavami a rozdílnými zákruty multifilamentu ve směru útku. Osnovní multifilamenty měly pouze ochranný zákrut.

Abstract:

The chapter of mechanical-physical properties is a very large term and includes a wide range of properties. The mechanical properties of textiles are described as response to the mechanical action of external forces. These are the following forces: strain, pressure, bend, torsion and cut. This work is focused on the strength analysis of fabrics made from twisted multifilaments. In the research part of the thesis are presented approaches of modeling the strength and ductility of various authors. One of the authors dealing with the strength and ductility modeling of fabrics was Peirce, whose models were further modified by other authors. Other authors use different tools to model eg. neural networks, or they are based on statistics and probability. Most models are based on the geometrical properties of the fabrics (weave, density, crimp etc.) and the properties of the yarns (strength, ductility, stiffness, etc.). Validation of results of experimentally measured strength of fabric made from multifilaments with different twist level will be compared with the theoretically predicted strength of the fabric according to the model (Kovář,[25]), which is based on the sum of the input yarn strengths, in the case of the thesis it is the input multifilaments with different twist levels in the warp and weft. In the experimental part were tested 15 different fabrics with different densities and different twist of multifilaments in the weft direction. The warp multifilaments had only a protective twist.
