The impact of digitalization and technostress on the labour market participation of Generation Z

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem digitalizace a technostresu na uplatnitelnost Generace Z na trhu práce. Tato generace vstupuje na trh práce s novým přístupem a preferencemi. Cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout doporučení pro zaměstnavatele, jak se mohou adaptovat na specifika Generace Z a vytvořit tak prostředí, které podporuje jejich růst, zdraví a produktivitu. Teoretická část vychází z dostupných odborných zdrojů a vysvětluje vliv digitalizace na trh práce, problematiku technostresu a charakteristiku Generace Z. V praktické části jsou analyzovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo mezi studenty vysokých škol a hloubkové rozhovory se studenty vysokých škol a personalisty. Na základě této analýzy jsou navržena doporučení pro zaměstnavatele.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the impact of digitalization and technostress on the employability of Generation Z on the labour market. This generation is now entering the labour market with new attitude and preferences. The aim of the thesis is to propose recommendations for employers on how they can adapt to the specific needs of Generation Z and create work environment that supports their growth, health, and productivity. The theoretical part is based on available relevant literature and explains the impact of digitalization on the labour market, the question of technostress and the characteristics of Generation Z. The practical part analyses the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among university students and in-depth interviews with university students and HR professionals. Based on this analysis the recommendations for employers are formulated.
