Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá mariánskou motivikou a symbolikou v českých písních středověku a baroka ve srovnání se současnými skladbami o Panně Marii. V první části je věnována pozornost vývoji mariánského kultu a zdrojům textů, které jsou analyzovány na následujících stranách. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with themes and symbols discovered in songs about the Virgin Mary. The origin of analyzed songs are Middle Ages, baroque, 19th and 20th century. The evolution of Mary's cult is described in the first part of the thesis, the second part examines particular songs.
