Price regulation in the Czech Republic focusing on the impacts of ambulant dental care

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá regulacemi cen v České republice, zejména v návaznosti na právní předpisy. Rozlišuji způsoby regulace cen s konkrétními příklady. Nabízím přehled kompetentních orgánů. Také řeším změny v ekonomice v 90. letech, během kterých se regulace cen z centrálně plánované ekonomiky omezovaly až do dnešní podoby. Zabývám se regulacemi z pohledu ekonomie, zejména příčinami jejich aplikace a možné konsekvence. Zaměřuji se na problematiku regulace cen v ambulantní stomatologické péči, zjišťuji, jakým způsobem je tato oblast regulována a zabývám se možnými důsledky pro zubní lékaře a pacienty. Pro ověření hypotéz využívám regresní analýzu. Potvrdila se existence závislosti mezi počtem pacientů na jednoho zubního lékaře v kraji a bohatstvím kraje.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with price regulations in the Czech Republic, especially in connection with legislation. I distinguish ways of price regulation with particular examples. I tender an overview of the competent authorities. I also deal with changes in the economy in the 1990s, during which price regulation from the centrally planned economy was limited to its current form. I deal with regulations from the point of view of economics, especially the causes of their application and possible consequences. I focus on the issue of price regulation in ambulant dental care, find out how this area is regulated and deal with the possible consequences for dentists and patients. I use regression analysis to verify hypotheses. The existence of a dependence between the number of patients per dentist in the region and the wealth of the region was confirmed.
