Tato bakalářská práce je věnována reluktačním motorům a jejich využití v oblasti průmyslu. Úvodní část seznamuje s jejich historií, popisuje konstrukci a možnosti jejich řízení a využití v praxi. V další části jsou motory rozděleny do kategorií v závislosti na jejich odlišnosti od konvenčních elektrických točivých strojů.
