The Cyber Law in Practice and in Project Management

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza vlivu Zákona o kybernetické bezpečnosti a souvisejících předpisů na informační systém Úřadu Městské části Praha 6. V teoretické části vymezuje pojmy v oblasti kybernetické bezpečnosti, poskytuje všeobecný přehled o kybernetické bezpečnosti ve světě a v České republice za účelem poskytnutí podkladů pro plánu rozvoje bezpečnostního povědomí tamtéž. Také podává přehled legislativního rámce pro kybernetickou bezpečnost v České republice. V praktické části je práce zaměřena na identifikaci aktiv a služeb na Úřadě Městské části Praha 6, jejich posouzení ve vztahu k legislativě v kybernetické bezpečnosti. Následně jsou zhodnocena aktiva a rizika a uvedena doporučená opatření pro zajištění vyšší míry zabezpečení a snížení rizik. Poslední část je věnovaná projektovému managementu a jeho vymezení ve vztahu k rolím a postupům v oblasti kybernetické bezpečnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the impact of the Cyber Security Act and related regulations on the information system of the Prague 6 District Office. In the theoretical part, it defines the concepts of cyber security, provides a general overview of cyber security in the world and in the Czech Republic in order to provide background information for the security awareness development plan there. It also provides an overview of the legislative framework for cyber security in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the work is focused on the identification of assets and services at the Prague 6 District Office, their assessment in relation to legislation in cybersecurity. Subsequently, assets and risks are assessed and recommended measures are provided to ensure a higher level of security and risk reduction. The last part is devoted to project management and its definition in relation to processes and roles in cybersecurity.
