Life of a single mother in today´s czech society

Abstract:

Svoji bakalářskou práci jsem zaměřila na problémy neúplné rodiny. Zejména pak na svobodné matky, které zůstaly se svými dětmi sami. Jejím obsahem jsou aktuální problémy, se kterými se tyto ženy potýkají a také to, jak na ně pohlíží nejen současná Česká společnost, ale také jejich blízcí. Další oblastí, kterou se zabývám, jsou podmínky, potřeby a možnosti této neúplné rodiny v soudobé společnosti. Ty se následně snažím přiblížit prostřednictvím rozhovorů s ženami, které se v této nelehké situaci octly.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis focuses on the problems of single-parent families. In particular, the single mothers who stayed with their children alone. It describes the current problems that these women face and how they are being seen not only by todays Czech society, but also their loved ones. Another area that I mention and cover in my thesis, are the conditions, needs and possibilities of single-parent families in the current society. I try to describe and explain these through interviews with women who go through this difficult situation themselves.
