Company rating and its importance for financial performance

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá ratingem, jeho historií a vznikem, ratingovými agenturami „Velké trojky“, jeho procesy a významem pro finanční zdraví společnosti. Dále zkoumá detailně rating dle metodologie Moody´s a použité postupy. Práce se dále zabývá detailní analýzou vybraného podniku za pomoci finanční analýzy, bonitních modelů, bankrotního modelu a ratingu dle metodologie Moody´s pro daný typ vybrané společnosti. V praktické části jsou aplikovány poznatky z teoretické části a je zde provedena analýza společnosti BK Enterprises s.r.o dle výše zmíněných analýz, kde je každý krok analýzy popsán a je určena jeho ideální a skutečná hodnota, stejně jako výsledné hodnocení. Na základě zjištěných poznatků jsou v závěru uvedena hodnocení dle finančních a ratingových modelů a jsou pospána doporučení pro budoucí vývoj podniku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with rating, its history and origin, rating agencies "Big Three", its processes and importance for the financial health of a company. It also examines in detail the rating according to the Moody's methodology and the procedures used. The thesis also shows a detailed analysis of the selected company with the help of financial analysis, creditworthiness models, bankruptcy model and a rating according to the Moody's methodology for the given type of selected company. In the practical part, the knowledge from the theoretical part is applied and there is an analysis of BK Enterprises s.r.o according to the above-mentioned analyzes, where each step of the analysis is described and its ideal and actual value is determined, as well as the final evaluation. Based on the findings, evaluations according to financial and rating models are given in the conclusion and recommendations for the future development of the company are set out.
