Abstract:
The topic of this thesis is the presence of cliché in selected 19th-century serials taking place in Paris: Les Mystères de Paris by Eugène Sue, Les Mansardes de Paris by Pierre Zaccone and Le Pavé de Paris by Louis Noir.
