Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje gastrointestinálním potížím v těhotenství z pohledu všeobecné sestry. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií gastrointestinálního traktu, onemocněními trávicího traktu těhotné ženy, uvádí klinické příznaky, diagnostiku a léčbu, dále informuje o výběru a působení antibiotik a anestezii v těhotenství.
