The diploma thesis devotes to a thematic unit Functions and word problems based on the functions. The aim of the thesis is to establish a set of word problems concentrated on the functions for some secondary school students. Práca sa venuje tematickému celku Funkcie a slovným úlohám zameraným na funkcie. Cieľom práce je vytvorenie súboru slovných úloh pre žiakov stredných škôl zameraných na funkcie. Slovné úlohy sú tvorené tak, aby sa týkali využitia funkcií na riešenie situácií z bežného života a tým viac motivovali žiakov k vzdelávaniu sa v tejto oblasti.
