Financial Crisis Impact on the evolution of U.S. Stock Indices

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the U.S. stock indices at the time of the ongoing financial crisis. It provides a brief overview of most crises, that hit the stock indices to today's developments.Significant declines recorded since the collapse of the real estate bubble in in the U.S. where such work is also given.Subsequent collapse of the mortgage market engulfed the entire American financial market mean falls the largest mortgage lenders in America and a large number of crashes institutions. Describes financial implications for the U.S. economy, as well as evaluating the impact of the causes of the crisis in the financial market. It shows the interconnectivity of financial and economic crises and their spread around the world. It analyzes the equity indices in the background in the U.S. real estate crisis.It offers a response to the crisis and index options that would mitigate the consequences of the crisis and possible solution to eliminate the repetition of the crisis.

Abstract:

Táto diplomová práca sa zameriava na americké akciové indexy v čase prebiehajúcej finančnej krízy.Poskytuje stručný prehľad najznámejších kríz, ktoré zasiahli tieto akciové indexy,až po dnešný vývoj. Výrazné prepady zaznamenali po prasknutí realitnej bubliny v USA,ktorej sa táto práca tiež venuje.Následný kolaps na trhu s hypotékami zachvátil celý americký finančný trh a znamenal pády najväčších poskytovateľov hypotekárnych úverov v Amerike a pády veľkého počtu finančných inštitúcií. Popisuje dôsledky na americkú ekonomiku, ako aj zhodnotenie príčin dopadu krízy na finančný trh. Poukazuje na prepojenosť finančnej a ekonomickej krízy a ich šírenie po celom svete.Analyzuje akciové indexy na pozadí realitnej krízy v USA.Ponúka reakcie indexov na krízu a možnosti ktoré by zmiernili následky krízy a prípadné východiska na elimináciu opakovania krízy.
