Housing Market in Ostrava and Olomouc Region

Abstract:

Trh bydlení se průběhu minulých let významně proměnil. Největší změna nastala v závěru roku 2008, kdy trh po dlouhém období růstu zaznamenal pokles, který trvá až do současnosti. Bakalářská práce "Trh s byty v Ostravském a Olomouckém regionu" se zabývá současnou situací na trzích s byty v těchto regionech, přičemž důraz je kladen na zmapování poptávky, bytové výstavby a průměrné ceny bytů, která se významně liší. Práce je rozdělená na dvě části. První část je teoretická a obsahuje definice pojmů byt, bydlení a trh bydlení. Kromě definic je zde uvedeno také členění bydlení a základní informace o regionální diferenciaci trhu bydlení a jejich příčinách. Druhá část je praktická. Zabývá se nejen trhem s byty v Ostravském a Olomouckém regionu, ale také mapuje aktuální situaci na trhu bydlení v zemích Evropské unie (Velká Británie). Je zde rovněž zahrnutý popis situace na trhu bydlení v České republice a její srovnání s jinými evropskými státy

Abstract:

The housing market in the Czech Republic has changed dramatically. It had been growing significantly until the third quarter of 2008 when it entered a slump. From that time the market has been declining. The bachelor thesis "Housing market in Ostrava and Olomouc region" deals with the current situation on the housing markets in these regions. It is mainly focused on housing demand, housing construction and average house prices that differ substantially. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and includes definitions of terms flat, housing and housing market. This part also deals with classification of housing and with regional differentiation of housing market and its causes. The second part is practical. It includes not only information about the housing markets in Ostrava and Olomouc region but it also describes the current situation on housing markets in other European countries (Great Britain). This section also contains a description of the current situation on the Czech housing market and its comparison with other European states
