Cílem této práce je analyzovat tři vybrané povídky z knihy Angely Carter The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories. Angela Carter převypravuje známé pohádky a podrobuje je feministické kritice, jelikož pohádky jako žánr zachovávají a reflektují patriarchální myšlenky, hodnoty a pravidla společnosti. Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to analyze three selected short stories from the collection The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories by Angela Carter. Carter retells and recycles well-known fairy tale stories from the feminist critique perspective as the fairy tale genre perpetuates the patriarchal ideology, its values and the norms.
