Saint Wenceslaus rider monument in Prague, work of Jan Jiří Bendl The purpose of this bachelor work is to summarize the current existing knowl-edge on a late work of art of a representative of Early Baroque sculpture in Bohemia, the woodcarver and sculptor Jan Jiří Bendl (1620? – 1680), i.e. his St. Wenceslas equestrian sculpture dated back to the year 1678.
