Abstract:

Diplomová práce zabývající se lifestylovým magazínem ELLE Decoration pojednává o jeho původu, vzniku a činnosti. Zkoumá důležitost kvality publikovaných fotografií vzhledem k celkovému dojmu z časopisu. Pomocí rozhovorů s českými fotografy spolupracujícími s časopisem ELLE Decoration zjišťuje, jaké atributy jsou nutné k výkonu povolání fotografa v lifestylovém magazínu.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis about origin and activities of lifestyle magazine ELLE Decoration. It examines the importance of the quality of published photographs in relation to the overall impression of the magazine. Through interviews with Czech photographers working with ELLE Decoration magazine, it finds out what attributes are necessary to pursue the profession of photographer in a lifestyle magazine.
