Abstract:
Cílem mé práce je zjistit, v čem konkrétně spočívá magie alžbětinského učence Johna Deeho. V první kapitole se věnuji fenoménu magie, jejím historickým počátkům a akademickým diskusím, které se k ní vztahují. Ve druhé kapitole se zabývám linií deeovského bádání. Ve třetí kapitole popisuji důležité události v Deeho životě a kariéře a na jeho třech dílech postupně ukazuji, jakým směrem se jeho myšlení …moreAbstract:
The aim of my work is to ascertain to what exactly the magic of the Elizabethan scholar John Dee is. The first chapter deals with the phenomenon of magic, its historical origins and academic discussions that relate to it. The second chapter explores the research on John Dee.
