Abstract:

Tento text se zabývá prevencí recidivity z pohledu aktivit zaměřených na snížení kriminality ve vybrané věznici. Toto téma dnes představuje rozsáhlou problematiku, a to především v tuzemských podmínkách, kdy tento fenomén se v naší společnosti objevuj čím dál častěji. Smyslem textu je zmapovat nejen konkrétní vzdělávací programy, ale i analyzovat individuální kritéria vězňů, jež všeobecně ovlivňují kriminální chování. Hlavním cílem je zabývat se v širším kontextu celkově efektivnosti vybraných programů v kontextu socializace recidivistů a řešit tuto problematiku komplexně. Řešení této problematiky v textu vychází ze stanovených výzkumných otázek, jež mapují podrobněji vzdělávací potřeby těchto jedinců. Text je členěn na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol, jež obsahují podkapitoly, ve kterých se zabývám daným tématem detailněji První kapitola teoretické části pojednává obecně o tématech jako je kriminalita, aktuálním stavem kriminality obecně a dále kriminogenními faktory, jež blíže odhalují příčiny recidivního chování a jsou relevantní pro realizaci praktické části. Druhá kapitola se zabývá definicí trestů a vymezuje účel trestu v kontextu snížení kriminality. Poslední kapitola teoretické části hodnotí stav vězeňské služby na základě relevantních dokumentů, definuje práva vězňů a obecně se zabývá vzdělávacími aktivity jež mají připravit vězně na kvalitnější život po výkonu trestu. Praktická část textu je členěna na pět částí (kapitol). V úvodní části je charakterizováno výzkumné šetření, zabývá se popisem výzkumné metody, jež bude v práci aplikována a jsou zde stanoveny výzkumné otázky jež slouží k objektivnímu zhodnocení výzkumné problematiky. Druhá kapitola se věnuje popisem výzkumného vzorku a nastiňuje průběh výzkumného šetření. Předposlední kapitola již prezentuje samotné bádání spolu s vyhodnocením výzkumných otázek, shrnutí závěrů a stanovení vhodných doporučení. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty nejdůležitější poznatky, jež mohou být inspirací pro poskytování kvalitnějších forem vzdělávání.

Abstract:

This text deals with recidivism prevention from the perspective of activities aimed at reducing crime in a selected prison. This topic is nowadays a large-scale issue, especially in domestic conditions, when this phenomenon is becoming more and more frequent in our society. The purpose of the text is to map not only specific educational programs, but also to analyze individual criteria of prisoners that generally influence criminal behavior. The main objective is to address the overall effectiveness of the selected programs in the context of socialization of recidivists and to address this issue in a comprehensive manner. The treatment of this issue in the text is based on the research questions identified, which map the educational needs of these individuals in more detail. The text is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters, which contain subchapters in which I deal with the topic in more detail The first chapter of the theoretical part deals with topics such as crime in general, the current state of crime in general and criminogenic factors that reveal the causes of recidivism and are relevant for the implementation of the practical part. The second chapter deals with the definition of punishment and defines the purpose of punishment in the context of crime reduction. The last chapter of the theoretical part assesses the state of the prison service on the basis of relevant documents, defines the rights of prisoners and generally deals with educational activities to prepare prisoners for a better quality of life after serving their sentence. The practical part of the text is divided into five parts (chapters). The introductory part describes the research investigation, describes the research method to be applied in the thesis and sets out the research questions that serve to objectively evaluate the research issue. The second chapter deals with the description of the research sample and outlines the course of the research investigation. The penultimate chapter already presents the research itself along with an evaluation of the research questions, a summary of the findings and the determination of appropriate recommendations. The thesis concludes with a summary of the most important findings that can inspire the provision of better forms of education.
