Hunger and malnutrition in the contemporary world: a geographical analysis
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje rozšíření hladu a podvýživy v současném světě. V první části popisuje přístupy k definování hladu a podvýživy a souvislosti vzniku hladomorů a podvýživy dnes i v minulosti. Druhá část představuje indikátory používané k měření podvýživy ve světě, hodnotí jejich vypovídací schopnost a mapuje výskyt podvýživy v průběhu posledních dvaceti let.

This Bachelor´s Thesis is devoted to extending hunger and malnutrition in the World today. The first part describes the approaches to the definition of hunger and malnutrition and the context of famine and malnutrition today and in the past.
