Integration of International protection seekers in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá osobami, které v České republice žádají o udělení mezinárodní ochrany. Teoretická část se věnuje obecně pojmu migrace a integrace, dále pak azylu, jeho historickému vývoji a legislativním podmínkám uprchlictví u nás. Diplomová práce také mapuje zařízení v České republice, ve kterých mohou žadatelé hledat pomoc. Teoretická část je doplněna o terénní výzkum mezi žadateli v Pobytovém středisku v Kostelci nad Orlicí. V empirické části je popsán chod pobytového střediska, struktura žadatelů, jejich život ve středisku a pomoc střediska při začleňování se do české společnosti.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with people who seek an international protection in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is devoted to a basic idea of migration and integration, further to the asylum and its historical evolution and legislative conditions of refugees in our country. The thesis also maps organizations in the Czech Republic, in which applicants can seek a support. The theoretical part is enriched with the field research among the applicants in Accommodation Centre in Kostelec nad Orlicí. In empirical part are described run of Accommodation Centre, structure of asylum seekers, their life in the centre and the centre assistance in integrating to the Czech society.
