Cílem této diplomové práce je popsat proces ochrany utajovaných informací v podmínkách Policie ČR. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou charakterizovány právní prameny v oblasti utajovaných informací, jsou popsány jednotlivé druhy bezpečnosti z pohledu zákona č. 412/2005 Sb. a také instituce, které se ochranou utajovaných informací zabývají.
