Historic and Cultural Development of the Chateau Dobris after World War Two

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na historický a kulturní vývoj zámku Dobříš po 2. světové válce. Hlavní pozornost je soustředěna na období od roku 1945, kdy objekt sloužil jako Domov spisovatelů. Práce ale sleduje jak události po roce 1939, které předcházely vzniku uměleckého domova, tak i novodobé dějiny zámku po roce 1994. Hlavním úkolem této práce bylo přiblížit osud zámku na pozadí komunistického režimu a předložit ucelené shrnutí této zámecké éry.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the historic and cultural development of the chateau Dobris after World War Two. The main attention is concentrated on the period from 1945 when the object served as The House of Writers. The thesis also watches both the events after 1939, which foreran the origin of the artistic house and also modern history after 1994. The main goal of the thesis is to bring near the chateau´s destiny against background of the communist regime and expose a compact summary of the chateau´s period.
