Experiencing of school success by left-handers at the beginning of their school attendance

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá utvářením si vztahu leváků k činnosti psaní na základě prožívání školní úspěšnosti. Teoretický základ popisuje asymetrii a lateralitu. Ukazuje druhy, stupně a typy laterality a rozkrývá možnosti její diagnostiky. Uvádí i historii výchovy leváků u nás a popisuje doporučení pro správný nácvik prvopočátečního psaní u levorukých žáků. Dále se zabývá pojmy školní úspěšnost, jejím prožíváním žáky a utvářením si vztahu k určité činnosti na základě prožívání. Empirická část navazuje na teoretický základ a zkoumá utváření si vztahu levorukých žáků k činnosti psaní na základě prožívání neznalosti a nedodržování vybraných doporučení při nácviku prvopočátečního psaní ze strany učitele.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis deals with the formation of a left-handed pupils´ relation to a writing activity based on experience school success. The theoretical part of this work describes the asymmetry and laterality. It shows sorts, grades and types of laterality and it reveals possibilities of its diagnosis. It also shows the history of education of left-handers in our country and describes recommendations for good practice in basic writing left-handed pupils. It deals with concepts as school success, school success experience and building a relationship to a specific activity based on experience. The empirical part builds on the theoretical basis and examines a formation of a left-handed pupils´ relationship to writing activities, based on experience of ignorance and non-compliance of selected recommendations for practicing of basic writing set up by a teacher.
