Modern technologies in the Service of Tourism

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím moderních technologií ve službách cestovního ruchu a implementací jedné z nich na existující plážový resort. Práce se skládá ze tří části. První teoretická část je věnována definování základních pojmů, jako je cestovní ruch, hotelnictví, informační a komunikační technologie a popisuje jaké jsou současné trendy a výhody v této oblasti. Druhá praktická část je zaměřena na názory a postoje respondentů v dotazníkovém šetření, které je zaměřené na využití moderních technologií v hotelnictví. Jedním z cílů této práce bylo zjistit, jaké řešení by bylo vhodné implementovat na plážový resort, který je objektem návrhové části.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the use of modern technologies in tourism services and the implementation of one of them on an existing beach resort. The thesis consists of three parts. The first, theoretical, part is devoted to defining basic terminology such as tourism, hospitality, ICT and it describes what are the current trends and benefits of the use of modern technologies in this area. The theoretical is followed by a practical part that is focused on the opinions of respondents in the survey. This survey is focused on the use of modern technologies in the hotel industry. One of the goals of this work was to find out what solution should be implemented on a beach resort, which is the object of the last part.
