Ocular manifestations of most frequently occurring syndromes

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce, zaměřující se na oční projevy nejčastěji se vyskytujících syndromů, provází čtenáře výběrem těch nejzajímavějších a nejtypičtějších, které byly zvoleny z širokého seznamu syndromů vykazujících alespoň jeden oční projev. Vybrané do této práce zastupují různé skupiny včetně chromozomálních aberací, triád, nebo syndromy, kde je jejich příčinou nervové poškození. Úvod práce zahrnuje stručný anatomický popis zrakového orgánu. Poté následují jednotlivé syndromy s uvedením popisu, příčin, projevů, možné terapie, případně je zahrnuta prevalence. Pro názornost a přehlednost jsou některé doplněny obrázky. Závěr práce vyjadřuje pocity a nové poznatky autorky vztahující se k této práci.

Abstract:

Bachelor´s thesis, focusing on ocular manifestations of most frequently occurring syndromes, guides the reader through the selection of the most interesting and most typical one´s, which were elected from a broad list of syndromes exhibiting at least one ocular manifestation. The selection in this thesis represents various groups including chromosomal aberrations, triads, or those caused by nerve damage. The beginning of the thesis includes a brief description of the anatomical organ of sight. This is followed by various syndromes presenting description, causes, manifestations, therapy, alternatively is included prevalence. Some of them are also accompanied by pictures for clarity and lucidity. The conclusion of the thesis expresses feelings and new findings of the author, related to this bachelor´s thesis.
