Possibilities of cooperation in multidisciplinary team in a hospital by solving a special kind of neglecting children

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce jsou možnosti spolupráce multidisciplinárního týmu ve zdravotnickém zařízení při specifickém zanedbání péče o dítě. V první a druhé kapitole se věnuji vymezení rozdílu mezi klasickým týráním, zanedbáním péče a specifickým zanedbáním péče o dítě. Rozdíl spatřuji zejména v přístupu rodičů k dítěti, kdy v případě klasického týrání, jde o určitý úmysl, u specifického zanedbání péče jde o volbu určité léčebné metody. Není v tom úmysl, ale snaha zachránit dítě.Třetí kapitola se zabývá volbou alternativní péče u dětí s dlouhodobým onemocněním a u dětí s infaustní prognosou. A zejména pak rozdílům v přístupu odborníků k této volbě rodiči v obou odlišných případech.Čtvrtá kapitola se věnuje problematice multidisciplinárního týmu z pohledu zdravotnického zařízení. Tato kapitola je stěžejním tématem této práce, proto je rozdělena do dvou úseků rozčlenění rolí v MDT a komunikace v MDT. Vnímám tyto dvě oblasti fungování a managementu týmu jako stěžejní při posouzení specificky zanedbaného dítěte. Zejména k vymezení kompetencí jednotlivých členů v týmu, kdo, co, kdy bude činit ve prospěch dítěte. V rámci této kapitoly je zařazena i spolupráce s ostatními členy týmu zvenčí. Vnímám jako stěžejní roli nejen členů MDT ve zdravotnickém zařízení, ale zároveň nutnost přizvat při řešení takto náročných případů dětí i ostatní členy týmu zvenčí.Pátá kapitola je věnována rozličným aspektům posouzení situace dítěte, které mají vliv na rozhodnutí odborníků. V empirické části se zaměřuji na zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky, která zní „jak se na procesu řešení zanedbání specifické péče u dlouhodobě nemocných dětí podílí účast jednotlivých členů multidisciplinárního týmu ve zdravotnickém zařízení?“. Zde se nejvíce zaměřuji na prezentaci metodiky výzkumu a interpretaci zjištěných dat.

Abstract:

The theme of this work is about possibilities of cooperation in multidisciplinary team in a hospital by solving a special kind of neglecting children. In the first and second chapter I try to clarify differences between normal child abuse and neglect and a special kind of neglected children. In my opinion, there is a difference in parents’ behaving to their child, in case of classic intended abusing, in case of special kind of child’s neglecting when alternative treatment for it was chosen. However, this is not intention but a way of helping to their child.In the third chapter I deal with choice of alternative treatment for children with long term illnesses and children with infaust illness prognoses. There are particularly mentioned differences in specialists’ approach in the both cases.In the fourth chapter I mention some problems of multidisciplinary team in the hospital from the hospital point of view. This chapter is the most important in my thesis, therefore is dividend into two sections: roles’ compartmentalization in the multidisciplinary team and communication in the multidisciplinary team. According to my opinion, both these topics of multidisciplinary team operating crucial for considering of special abuse of children. Especially for division of the members’ team competency who, what, when will do for children’s behalf. This chapter also contains cooperating between members of multidisciplinary team from hospital and other members from cooperating organisations. I consider the necessity of making a contact with the other members; because sometimes members of multidisciplinary team in the hospital need ask for cooperation members of the team from outside by solving some difficult cases. In the fifth chapter I mention some different aspects which can influence resolutions of professionals.In the research part of my work I concentrate on answering the main research question, which is: „How the members from multidisciplinary team in the hospital take part in the process by solving problems of special neglect children?” In this part I mostly concerned on the presentation of the research methodology and interpretation of the results.
