The availability of sources for the water filling of the future post-pit lakes in the area of Podkrušnohoří

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá průzkumem provozovaných hnědouhelných dolů v Podkrušnohoří (ČSA, Vršany, Libouš a Bílina), kde má být v průběhu jednadvacátého století ukončena těžba, proběhnout technická sanace a má dojít k jejich napouštění, a to nejen s ohledem na Severočeskou uhelnou pánev, ale i na oblast Sokolovského revíru. Pro potřeby práce se zpracovává dostupnost vodních zdrojů, realistické možnosti odběru z hlediska objemů při zachování minimálního zůstatkového průtoku v korytech řek, které představují hlavní zdroje napouštění, a to se zaměřením na stavy řek Ohře a Bílina. U ostatních zdrojů napouštění je hodnocen jejich stav a pravděpodobná náprava jejich koryt po ukončení napouštění, související i s chemickými parametry vody. Součástí práce je porovnání s již existujícími napuštěnými antropogenními jezery v oblasti Podkrušnohoří (jezera Medard, Chabařovice a Most). V práci je zohledněn vývoj mikroklimatu v Podkrušnohoří z hlediska průměrných úhrnů a rostoucího výparu, respektive významně se měnících jevů, které mají vliv na celkovou řešenou vodohospodářskou soustavu.

Abstract:

The aim of this dissertation is to examine the continuously operated brown coal mines in the region of Podkrušnohoří (specifically ČSA, Vršany, Libouš and Bílina) in which the ongoing coal extraction, should be discontinued over the course of the 21st century; followed by technical remediation, and recultivation in the form of flooding and submerging of the areas in question, with respect to the Northern Bohemia Brown Coal Basin as well as the Sokolov District. For the purpose of this thesis the following subjects will also be elaborated upon; chiefly the availability of water resources as well as actual possibilities of water depletion in terms of its volume with respect to maintaining minimal residual flow in riverbeds. For that reason, the focus will be placed upon the waterways which represent an essential water source for flooding, particularly on the river conditions of the two waterways of Ohře and Bílina. As for other remaining water resources, their state, as well as probable reformation of the riverbeds after the termination of submerging is depicted, which is also closely related to water properties, such as its chemical parameters. Furthermore, another constituent of this work is the comparison of the already existing flooded anthropogenic lakes in the area of Podkrušnohoří (namely the lakes of Medard, Chabařovice and Most). In addition, the development of the microclimate in the Podkrušnohoří region with regards to average precipitation and growing condensation will be taken into account in this paper, or more precisely the fluctuating phenomena which may significantly affect the scrutinized water management system.
