The aim of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of coalitions in consensual democracies and northern European states in the second mid of the 20th century. The thesis has three parts. The first part contains theoretical frame and types of coalitions. The second section focuses on the party’s systems of the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Denmark.
