Enviromental portrait with focus on craft.

Abstract:

Tato práce zpracovává vhodné postupy, techniku a celý proces fotografování stylizovaného portrétu, včetně postprodukce fotografií. Práce je zaměřena především na fotografie řemeslníků v jejich přirozeném prostředí. V teoretické části jsou popsána díla několika zahraničních i českých fotografů. Fotografie těchto autorů jsou popsány a rozebrány na několik aspektů, kompozici, techniku, obsah, světlo a celkový dojem. Fotografové a jejich díla jsou porovnáváni mezi sebou. Teoretická část je také podkladem pro část praktickou, kde jsou aplikovány poznatky z teoretické části práce. V praktické části jsou fotografie 3 osob, každá vykonává jiné řemeslo. U každého je několik výsledných upravených fotografií a u některých fotografií je i verze před/po kvůli názornosti postprodukce fotografie. Práce mimo tyto 3 osoby obsahuje také portréty, které autor vyfotil a upravil před psaním této práce. Jsou taktéž popsány a je na nich rozebráno opět několik aspektů fotografie včetně chyb, které autor u focení udělal, aby jim předešel u focení zmíněných 3 osob.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis handles appropriate techniques, and the entire process of photographing environmental portrait, including photo post-production. The work is mainly focused on photography of craftsmen in their natural environment.The theoretical part describes the works of several foreign and Czech photographers. The photographs of these authors are described and discussed in several aspects, composition, technique, content, light and overall impression. Photographers and their works are compared with each other. The theoretical part is also the basis for the practical part, where the knowledge from the theoretical part of the thesis is applied.In the practical part there are photos of 3 people, each doing a different craft. For each, there are several finalized edited photos, and for some photos there is also a pre / post version to illustrate the post-production of the photo. Thesis except these 3 people also includes portraits, which the author photographed and edited before writing theoretical part of thesis. They are also described several aspects of the photos, including the mistakes made by the author in order to prevent them.
