Abstract:
This thesis is focused on swearwords in czech and croatian. Our thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. We are focused on the swearwords founded in czech and croatian novels and short stories. Based on the results we can see differences between those two languages on the field of swearing.

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá jazykovým fenoménem nadávky v chorvatském a českém jazyce. Po teoretickém shrnutí dosavadních poznatků o tématu provádíme analýzu materiálu excerpovaného z vybraných prozaických děl chorvatské i české literatury.
