Abstract:

Tématem práce je reflexe problematiky obecných menšinových škol na Liberecku v českém a německém dobovém tisku v letech 1919 -1922. Liberecko je oblast, kde v období tzv. První republiky žily dva národy vedle sebe – Češi a Němci. Němci zde tvořili většinové obyvatelstvo a Češi zde žili v pozici národnostní menšiny. V roce 1919 byl vydán menšinový školský zákon, kdy díky němu bylo v pohraničí zřízeno mnoho obecných škol pro české děti. V práci se zabývám obdobím mezi roky 1919 - 1922, kdy noviny a časopisy byly téměř jediným zdrojem informací a tisk tak byl jedním z klíčových médií, který informoval o veřejném dění. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda jak český a německý dobový tisk reflektoval problematiku menšinového školství na Liberecku. Zda se liší pohled českého a německého tisku na obecné menšinové školy a jak tisk vykresluje problematiku školství v očích české a německé veřejnosti na Liberecku. Základní použitou metodou je obsahová analýza tisku – Ještědského obzoru (jako zástupce tisku českého) a Reichenberger Zeitung (jako zástupce tisku německého).

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is the reflection on issues of elementary minority schools of Liberec region in Czech and German 1919-1922 press. Liberec region is the place where in time of “The first republic” two nations lived together – the Czechs and the Germans. The Germans created major population and the Czechs lived in a position of minority. In 1919 Minority school law was issued and as the result a lot of general schools for Czech children in border region were founded. I discuss the period of 1919-1922 when the press was the only source of information and so it was the only key media which informed about public affairs. The aim of the thesis is to find out if the Czech and German press reflected the issue of minority education in Liberec region, if there were any differences in the view of the Czech and the German press and how the press plotted this issue in the view of the Czech and the German population in Liberec region. The basic method used in the thesis is textual analysis of the press – Ještědský obzor (the Czech press) and Reichenberger Zeitung (the German press).
