Motivation factors of choice profession: Teacher in kindergarten

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou motivačních faktorů, které vedly studenty či již pracující v MŠ k výběru daného povolání. Pro lepší orientaci v dané problematice jsou v první kapitole teoretické části vysvětleny pojmy spjaté s motivací. V druhé kapitole se dále zabývám vybranými motivačními teoriemi, které jsou klíčové pro pochopení toho, co člověka v pracovním procesu muže motivovat. V třetí kapitole jsou popsána specifika profese učitelky v mateřské škole. Praktická část je průzkumná, postavena jako kvantitativně kvalitativní s použitím polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Zkoumání bylo provedeno na dvou skupinách studentů Ostravské univerzity v Ostravě, oboru Učitelství pro mateřské školy- prezenčního studia UMŠ a studenti kombinovaného studia UMŠ za předpokladu, že již v MŠ pracují. Smyslem je zjistit, zda existují rozdíly v motivačních faktorech mezi oběma skupinami, a pokud ano, jaké.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the motivational factors leading students or these already working in the nursery to choose this profession. For better understanding, the concepts related to motivation are decribed in theoretical part of the first chapter. In the second chapter I?m dealing with the selection of motivational theories that are pivotal to comprehend what people in the workforce can be motivated by. The third chapter depicts the job specification of a kindergarten teacher. The practical part of this thesis is explorational, presented as quantitatively qualitative with semistructured interview. The research analyses two groups of the University of Ostrava students. The first group from the full time Kindergarten Teacher study (UMS), the second one from the Combined study (UMS), assuming that these students are already working. The intent is to determine whether there are differences between those two groups, what kind of differences, if so.
