State of population of Silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) after windthrows events Kyrill and Emma

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá výskytem jedle bělokoré (Abies alba Mill.) na lokalitách Bílý Kostelec, Bobří soutěska, Držovice, Kravaře a Muckov v Českém středohoří. Cílem této práce bylo vyhledání jedinců jedle, jejich inventarizace, změření, zaměření s GPS, porovnání s měřeními z bakalářské práce Bc. M. Pivrnce (2001) a diplomové práce Ing. J. Stodoly (2006). Dalším cílem bylo proměření možností záchrany semenáčků vyzvednutím a školkováním mimo lokalitu s cílem návratu ve formě výsadby schopných sazenic. Na lokalitě Bílý Kostelec byly nově objeveny 2 stromy jedle. Nalezeno bylo na lokalitě Bobří soutěska 54 stromů, lokalitě Držovice 11 jedinců jedle, na lokalitě Kravaře 20 stromů a na lokalitě Muckov 94 stromů. Některé jedle měřené v minulosti zmizely byly pokáceny se smrkem po větrných kalamitách. Nově byly objeveny i další mladé dříve nezjištěné jedle.

Abstract:

This work deals with the occurrence of Silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) in the localities Bílý Kostelec, Bobří soutěska, Držovice, Kravaře and Muckov in the České Středohoří highland area. The aim of this study was to find individual fir trees, to create their inventory, to measure the trees and locate them using GPS and finály Compaq the results with the measurements included in the bachelor work of Bc. M. Pivrnec (2001) and the measurements in the dissertation work of Ing. J. Stodola (2006). Another objective was to verify the possibilities of rescuing the seedlings and transplanting them to a suitable locality, and later returning them back to the original locality by means of planting them as capable seedlings. In the locality Bílý Kostelec, there were newly discovered 2 fir trees, 54 trees were found in the locality of Bobří soutěska, 11 individual fir trees in the locality of Držovice, 20 trees in the locality of Kravaře and 94 trees in the locality of Muckov. Some fir trees ,measured in the past, have disappeared they were felled along with spruce trees after a wind calamity. Some other young fir trees, previously undetected, where newly discovered.
