Cooperation between bank and company in cash flow management

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat a zhodnotit spolupráci konkrétního podniku s bankami. V práci jsou nejprve shrnuty teoretické poznatky o peněžních tocích v podniku a rozebrána úloha bank při jejich řízení. Důraz je kladen na bankovní produkty, které společnostem umožňují vypořádat se s krátkodobými výkyvy ve stavu peněžních prostředků. V praktické části jsou v rámci hlavního cíle navrženy možnosti úspory úrokových nákladů podniku s využitím diskutovaných bankovních produktů. Jako nástroj pro optimalizaci úrokových nákladů je představen produkt cash pooling, jehož zavedením do vybraného podniku se zabývá závěr práce.

Abstract:

The goal of the master thesis is to analyze and assess cooperation between a company and its banks. First, theoretical findings about cash flow are summarized and the role of banks in cash flow management is discussed. The emphasis is put on the bank products that enable businesses to deal with short-term fluctuations in cash. Within the main goal in the practical part, options to reduce the amount of interest paid are suggested, with the help of presented banking services. As an effective tool for interest optimization is introduced cash pooling and its implementation into the chosen company is designed at the end of the thesis.
