The present baccalaureate thesis analyzes the function of the antagonists in Brother Grimms' fairy tales from their fairy tale collection Children's Stories and Household Tales based on Vladimir J. Předkládaná bakalářská práce je analýzou funkce zlých postav v pohádkách bratří Grimmů z jejich sbírky Kinder- und Hausmärchen na základě formalistického přístupu Vladimira J. Proppa. Proppova významná studie Morfologie pohádky klade důraz především na funkce postav a jejich zřetězení do narativního vzorce.
