This thesis regards the teaching of English suprasegmental features. Its objective is to create a brief overview of the existing teaching ways of these features and emphasize their importance. The thesis further deals with factors which directly influence the quality of teaching. Tato práce se zabývá výukou suprasegmentálních rysů výslovnosti anglického jazyka. Jejím cílem je vytvořit stručný přehled stávajících způsobů výuky těchto rysů a zdůraznit jejich důležitost. Práce se dále věnuje faktorům, které mají přímý vliv na kvalitu výuky.
