This bachelor thesis deals with inversion after fronting in English. The theoretical part describes the connection between fronting and inversion, the rules and the circumstances under what they are used. This thesis also mentions general rules of canonical word order and information structure in a clause. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá inverzí po předsazení v angličtině. Teoretická část práce popisuje souvislost mezi předsazením a inverzí, pravidla a okolnosti podmiňující jejich použití. Práce také zmiňuje obecná pravidla slovosledu a struktury sdělení. Cílem následu-jící části je analýza poznatků za pomoci korpusů BNC a COCA.
