Chemical Composition and Possibility of Utilization of Plant Caigua (Cyclanthera pedanta L. Schard) as Functional Food
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá významem funkčních potravin a jejich příznivém působení na zdraví člověka. Je zde zhodnocen fytochemický profil rostliny Caigua (Cyclanthera pedata L. Schrad), které je přisuzován kladný účinek na snižování vysoké hladiny cholesterolu v krvi, hypertenze či na regulaci glukosy v krvi. Dále se práce zabývá využitím rostliny pro výrobu funkčních potravin.Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with the importance of functional foods and their positive effects on human health. There is evaluated phytochemical profile of plant Caigua (Cyclanthera pedata L. Schrad), which is attributed a positive effect on reducing high blood cholesterol levels, hypertension or to regulate glucose levels.
