Imaging methods in diagnostics of prostatic diseases

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem ? Zobrazovací metody v diagnostice onemocnění prostaty? je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první části popisuji anatomii prostaty a onemocnění, které prostatu postihují. Dále pak zobrazovací metody, které se při diagnostice onemocnění prostaty používají, principy těchto metod a patologickými nálezy. Především výpočetní tomografií, ultrasonografií a magnetickou rezonancí. Dále pak scintigrafií skeletu v diagnostice metastatického onemocnění. Ve druhé části práce se zaměřuji na karcinom prostaty, především na TNM klasifikaci ca prostaty a na zobrazovací vyšetřovací modality, které jsou nejvíce přínosné pro stanovení stadia nemoci. Jak se tyto vyšetřovací metody doplňují a která z nich má pro klinika největší výtěžnost.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis ?Imaging methods in diagnostics of prostatic diseases? is divided into two parts. In the first part I describe the anatomy of the prostatic gland and the diseases, that affect it. Next the imaging methods, that are used in the diagnostics of diseases of the prostate, principles of these methods and pathologic findings. Especially by computed tomography, sonography and magnetic resonance imaging. Further the bone scintigraphy in the diagnostics of metastatic disease. In the second part I focus on the prostatic cancer , especially the TNM classification of the prostatic carcinoma and the imaging modalities, that are the most beneficial in assessment of the stage of the disease. About combining of these methods and about which of them is of the biggest benefit for the clinician.
