S nástupom moderných technológií začali napredovať viaceré odvetvia a služby. Jedným z nich sú banky, ktoré vydávajú platobné karty. Platobné karty nám umožňujú jednoducho a bezpečne platiť za tovary a služby a taktiež nosiť so sebou väčšiu hotovosť, ktorá nám zaberá menej miesta.
