Experiencing the postpartum period

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem výzkumného šetření je zjistit, jak prožívá somatické, psychické a sociální změny v období šestinedělí žena prvorodička, vícerodička, vdaná žena, žena žijící s partnerem a žena žijící bez partnera. Dále je práce zaměřena na srovnávání stanovených domén mezi jednotlivými ženami. Výzkumnými otázkami byly stanoveny oblasti prožívání bolesti, zvládání kojení a vliv porodní asistentky v této oblasti, znalosti výhod kojení a výskyt a prožívání komplikací v šestinedělí. Mezi další výzkumné otázky byl zařazen, výskyt poporodní deprese, strachu, úzkosti, plačtivosti nebo poruchy spánku v šestinedělí, role partnera, opora v šestinedělí a výskyt konfliktu rolí u ženy. Metodika: K šetření byla použita metoda kvalitativního výzkumu. Sběr dat proběhl prostřednictvím individuálních rozhovorů se ženami, za využití nestandardizovaného dotazníku doplněného o standardizovanou Edinburskou škálu postnatální deprese. Výsledky: V šetření byly stanoveny tři hlavní kategorie. Každá kategorie byla, za účelem zodpovězení výzkumných otázek, doplněna o podkategorie. Analýzou dat bylo zjištěno, že se mezi prvorodičkami a vícerodičkami objevily rozdíly v prožívání raného šestinedělí v oblasti somatických a psychických změn. Při zkoumání prožívání období šestinedělí z pohledu rodinného stavu ženy, poukázalo výzkumné šetření na to, že psychické a sociální změny nejvíce ovlivňují prožívání šestinedělí u ženy žijící bez partnera. Závěr: Prožívání somatických, psychických i sociálních změn se u žen lišil z pohledu parity i z pohledu rodinného stavu ženy v šestinedělí. Klíčovou rolí porodní asistentky je vyhledávat tyto faktory ovlivňující prožívání šestinedělí a to zejména z důvodu lepšího pochopení potřeb ženy v šestinedělí.

Abstract:

Objective: The aim of the research is to determine how experiencing somatic, psychological and social changes during the postpartum woman primipara, multigravidas married woman, a woman living with a partner and a woman living without a partner. Further work is focused on comparing the set of domains between women. Research questions were defined areas experiencing pain management nursing and midwifery influence in this field, knowledge of the benefits of breastfeeding and the incidence of complications and experiencing postpartum. Among other research questions were included, the incidence of postpartum depression, fear, anxiety, tearfulness or sleep disturbances in childbed, the role of partner support in the postpartum period and the incidence of conflict of roles for women. Methods: The research survey method was used qualitative research. The data were collected through individual interviews with women, using non-standardized questionnaire, supplemented by standardized Edinburgh postnatal depression scale. Results: The investigation has been established three main categories. Each category was, in order to answer the research questions, supplemented by subcategories. Analysis of the data revealed that among primiparas and multigravidas appeared differences in experiencing early postpartum in somatic and psychological changes. When examining experiencing postpartum period in terms of marital status of women, research survey pointed out that the psychological and social changes affect most experience with postpartum women living without a partner. Conclusion: Experiencing somatic, psychological and social changes in women differed in terms of parity from the perspective of marital status of women in the postpartum period. The key role of midwife to search those factors influencing the experience of confinement and especially because a better understanding of the needs of women in the postpartum period.
