Psychologist at School: Help for everyone

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Psycholog ve škole aneb pomoc pro všechny pojednává o působení školního psychologa na základní škole. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí – teoretické a výzkumné. V teoretické části jde o popis současného školství a jeho problémů. Dále mapuje model poradenských služeb na našich školách, tedy vývoj poradenských služeb, cíle a týmové složení pracovníků. Závěr teoretické části se věnuje školní psychologii a školnímu psychologovi, náplni práce a vztahové síti s ostatními subjekty školy. Ve výzkumné části je snaha nahlédnout na informovanost a náplň práce školních psychologů očima žáků. Výzkumné šetření je prováděno formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se sedmi žáky druhého stupně základní školy. Rozhovory jsou analyzovány a interpretovány pomocí otevřeného kódování.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis titled Psychologist at school – help for everyone deals with activities and work that a school psychologist performs at the primary school. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and research. The theoretical part focuses on description of current school system and its problems. Then, a model of consulting services at schools is surveyed, more concretely, development of consulting services, objectives and structure of working teams. In the closing part, we engage in the area of school psychology and also in the conception of a school psychologist. Their duties and finally a net of relations with other school entities are explored here. In the part of the research, our aim is to provide an insight into school psychologists´ awareness and their duties from the pupils´ point of view. The research is conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with seven pupils of the second stage at the primary school. The interviews are analyzed and interpreted by the means of open coding.
