Philosophy of René Descartes from the perspective of Czech authors (comparison 1945 - 1990 and 1990 - present)

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce s názvem „Filozofie Reného Descarta z pohledu českých autorů“ se zabývá filozofií Reného Descarta, především analýzou interpretací českých filozofů. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních částí. Na začátku bude charakterizován přínos a význam Reného Descarta, v druhé kapitole budou popsány interpretace českých autorů v období od roku 1948 až do 1990. Ve třetí kapitole budou stejným způsobem charakterizovány práce od roku 1990 po současnost. Stěžejní však bude čtvrtá kapitola, kde budou tyto dvě období srovnány a popsány společné vlastnosti i odlišnosti, které lze ve zkoumaných interpretacích najít. Práce se zaměřuje na témata metodické skepse, pravdivosti poznání, dualismu, idejí, pojetí boha a pohybu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis named „Philosophy of René Descartes from the perspective of Czech authors” deals with the philosophy of René Descartes, mostly with the analysis of Czech philosophers´ interpretation. This thesis will be divided into four main parts. In the beginning, there will be a characterization of the importance of René Descartes, while in the second chapter there will be a description of the Czech author´s interpretations in the period after 1948 to 1990. In the third chapter, there will be a description of the period after the year 1990 until the present. The most important part will be the fourth chapter, where those two periods will be compared in their resemblance and distinctions. This thesis focuses on methodological scepticism, the truth of knowledge, dualism, ideas, the conception of God, and motion.
