Comparison of current teaching midwifery at universities and teaching institutions in the State for the education and training of midwives

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je věnována komparaci současné výuky porodních asistentek na vysokých školách a výuky v rámci Státních ústavů pro vzdělávání a výcvik porodních asistentek. V teoretické části je popsaný vývoj profese porodní asistence na území Čech a Moravy. Zabýváme se vzděláváním porodních asistentek ve 20. a 21. století v České republice, dále také historií pardubické nemocnice, vývojem vzdělávání porodních asistentek v Pardubicích, nakonec připomínáme životopis Prof. Dr. Cyrila Gály. Ve druhé části práce porovnáváme vzdělávání porodních asistentek v rámci Státního ústavu pro vzdělávání a výcvik porodních asistentek, které byly zakládány od roku 1930 s výukou porodních asistentek v současnosti, která probíhá na Fakultě zdravotnických studií Univerzity Pardubice. Dále jsme porovnávaly dovednosti v porodní asistenci, které jsou standardní v současnosti a všední činnosti porodní asistentky ve 30. letech 20. století.

Abstract:

The thesis is devoted to the comparison of current midwifery education at universities and teaching institutions in the State for the education and training of midwives. The theoretical part describes the development of the profession of midwifery in Bohemia and Moravia. We are engaged in training midwives in the 20th and 21 century in the Czech Republic and as well as the history of Pardubice hospital and development of training of midwives in Pardubice and eventually commemorate Prof. CV. Dr. Cyril Gály. In the second part we compare the training of midwives in the State Institute for the education and training of midwives who have been established since 1930 with teaching midwives currently taking place at the Faculty of Health Studies University of Pardubice. Furthermore we compared the skills in midwifery practice which are standard today and everyday activities of a midwife in the 30th 20th century.
