Diagnostics of movement patterns using the Functional Movement screen (FMS) method in aesthetic-coordination sports

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá metodou nazývanou Functional Movement Screen (FMS) v moderní gymnastice a TeamGymu, pomocí které je možné diagnostikovat pohybový aparát, konkrétními vybranými pohybovými vzorci. V teoretických východiscích práce byla popsána charakteristika vybraných esteticko-koordinačních sportů, sportovní výkon, vliv gymnastiky na lidské zdraví, problematika zranění, svalová dysbalance a v neposlední řadě metoda FMS, na které je založena tato kvalifikační práce. V metodické části je představen výzkumný vzorek a podrobně vysvětlena metoda funkčního pohybového screeningu (FMS). Jsou popsány jednotlivé testy, které FMS zahrnuje, jejich provedení a způsob hodnocení. Tato sekce tak poskytuje detailní informace o hlavní výzkumné metodice použité v dané studii. Výzkumná část se zaměřuje na testování pohybových vzorců u vybraného souboru gymnastek, konkrétně ve věku 10-16 let (n=28). Tato část uvádí výsledky a vyhodnocení probandů na základě stanovených hypotéz.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the method called Functional Movement Screen (FMS) in modern gymnastics and TeamGym, with the help of which it is possible to diagnose the movement apparatus, specific selected movement patterns. The theoretical basis of the work described the characteristics of selected aesthetic-coordinating sports, sports performance, the influence of gymnastics on human health, the issue of injuries, muscle imbalance and, finally, the FMS method, on which this qualification work is based. In the methodological part, the research sample is presented, and the method of functional movement screening (FMS) is explained in detail. The individual tests that FMS includes, their implementation and the evaluation method are described. This section thus provides detailed information on the main research methodology used in the given study. The research part focuses on testing the movement patterns of a selected group of female gymnasts, specifically aged 10-16 (n=28). This section presents the results and evaluation of the probands based on the established hypotheses.
