Teaching materials for the development of communication skills in French class

Abstract:

This thesis is dealing with the development of communication competence in French language teaching with the aid of pictorial material. The theoretical part of my thesis has two major chapters. The first one is focused on communication competence. Also, verbal speech and the rules for communication in the lessons are characterized in this chapter. The second chapter defines pictorial material, its types and functions in the lessons and it generally deals with its importance. The didactic part of the thesis follows pieces of knowledge from the theoretical part. It contains pedagogical papers which can be used in French language teaching for enrichment or revision of vocabulary, practising grammar and mainly for improvement of students’ communication. These papers include the didactic material I made and examples of its usage. A brief analysis of pictorial material that is used in the lessons, the technique of its creation and method I chose for this work are also the part of this thesis.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá rozvojem komunikační kompetence ve výuce francouzského jazyka, a to za pomoci obrazového materiálu. Teoretická část má dvě hlavní kapitoly, první z nich rozebírá komunikační kompetenci, charakterizuje ústní projev a pravidla pro komunikaci ve třídě, druhá kapitola pak definuje obrazový materiál, jeho typy a funkce ve výuce a celkově pojednává o jeho důležitosti. Didaktická část čerpá z poznatků části teoretické, obsahuje pedagogické listy, které lze využít ve výuce francouzského jazyka k obohacení či opakování slovní zásoby, procvičení gramatiky a zejména zlepšení komunikace žáků. Obsahem těchto listů je mnou vytvořený didaktický materiál a příklady jeho použití. Součástí práce je i stručný rozbor obrazového materiálu užívaného ve výuce, techniky jeho tvorby a postup, který jsem pro svou práci zvolila já.
