Abstract:

Ochrana osobních údajů dle aktuálního Nařízení Evropského parlamentu a rady (EU) 2016/679 o ochraně fyzických osob v souvislosti se zpracováním osobních údajů a o volném pohybu těchto údajů a o zrušení směrnice 96/46/ES (dále jen „GDPR“) v Institutu pro veřejnou správu Praha (dále jen „Institut“) je stěžejním tématem této práce. Pro uvedení do tématu práce shrnuje základní skutečnosti o ochraně osobních údajů, a to včetně legislativního rámce. Pro zajištění ochrany osobních údajů působí na území státu dozorový úřad, a tím je v ČR Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů. Jeho kompetence, resp. působnost je obecně zpracovaná v této práci. Institut je příspěvkovou organizací Ministerstva vnitra ČR, a tato organizace zejména díky své hlavní činnosti je významným Správcem a Zpracovatelem osobních údajů. GDPR do Institutu přineslo potřebu nastavení nových jak organizačních, tak technologických opatření. S jakými dopady GDPR se Institut musel vypořádat a jak se s nimi dosud vypořádal je součástí této diplomové práce.

Abstract:

The protection of personal data under the current Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 96/46/EC (the "GDPR") at the Institute for Public Administration Prague (the "Institute") is a central theme of this work. For the introduction of the theme, the thesis summarises the basic facts about the protection of personal data, including the legislative framework. In order to ensure the protection of personal data, there is a supervisory authority in the territory of the State, and that is the Office for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic. Its competence or competence is generally elaborated in this work. The Institute is a contributory organization of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, and thanks mainly to its main activities it is an important controller and processor of personal data. Gdpr brought to the Institute the need to set up new both organizational and technological measures. What impacts of gdpr the Institute has had to deal with and how it has dealt with them so far is part of this diploma thesis.
