Smart City problematics in the selected city

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zpracovat koncept řešení Smart City v Jindřichově Hradci se zaměřením na chytré parkoviště a dopravní navigační systém. V teoretické části jsou využita primární data z vědeckých odborných článků, dále data z již realizovaných projektů v České republice a zahraničí a případové studie. Současně je představeno, jak chytré digitální a komunikační technologie mohou v chytrých městech způsobit digitální a technologickou propast. Metodický aparát v praktické části reprezentuje kvalitativní výzkum strategických dokumentů města a expertní rozhovory s představiteli města a dalšími odborníky z oblasti Smart City. Kvantitativní přístup je použit při realizaci on-line dotazníkového šetření respondentů se vztahem k městu (obyvatelé města, respondenti dojíždějící za prací a vzděláním). V závěru diplomové práce jsou získané informace podrobeny analýze a interpretovány výsledky. Na základě těchto výsledků je navržen vhodný Smart projekt.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to develop a Smart City solution concept in Jindřichův Hradec with a focus on Smart parking and a traffic navigation system. In the theoretical part, primary data from scientific professional articles are used, as well as data from already implemented projects in the Czech Republic and abroad and case studies. At the same time, it is presented how smart digital and communication technologies can cause a digital and technological divide in smart cities. The methodological apparatus in the practical part represents the qualitative research of the city's strategic documents and expert interviews with city representatives and other experts in the field of Smart City. A quantitative approach is used in the implementation of an online questionnaire survey of respondents with a relationship to the city (residents of the city, respondents commuting for work and education). At the end of the diploma thesis, the obtained information is subjected to analysis and the results are interpreted. Based on these results, a suitable Smart project is designed.
