The Footprints (Shoes like painting, painting like shoes)

Abstract:

Nakonec vznikla série celkem 10 polystyrenových "obrazů" na téma Stopy (obraz jako boty, boty jako obraz). Obrazy jako (představující) boty vznikly tři a to obdélník s dvěma otvory (vnitřek boty), bílý čtverec s otvory (stopy člověka) a černý polystyren s montážní pěnou s černým akrylem smíchaným s expandovaným perlitem (stopy a otočené boty zády). Boty jako (představující) obraz, těch vzniklo celkem 5. První z nich negativ, vytvořený pomocí vyleptání materiálu skrz a pozadí namalované modrým balakrylem. Druhý obraz je spojením bílého a černého polystyrenu a kresby bot. Třetí pak představuje otištěnou podrážku na modrém polystyrenu, který je podpořen zadním plánem z bílého polystyrenu. Čtvrtý je vytvořen pomocí různě barvených polystyrenů balakrylem a poslepovaných k sobě a propojování jednotlivých barevných vrstev, pomocí postupného leptání.Pátým obrazem je pak propojení předního a zadního plánu obrazu pomocí negativu a pozitivu, posléze malba balakrylem spojená s expandovaným perlitem a následné přestříkaný černým sprejem. Poslední kategorií jsou pak Boty jako obraz i Obraz jako boty.Zahrnuje totiž oba dva názvy. A to z hlediska formálního i obsahového. A to nalepený růžový polystyren na bílém. Jde o využití různé kompozice pomocí růžového polystyrenu. Toto rozdělení je však čistě formální záležitostí, která je založená až na mém zpětném osobním pohledu.Ne vždy jsem totiž vytvářela obrazy s jasnou představou, jaký aspekt bude v tom, či jiném dominovat, jestli to bude "OBRAZ" nebo "BOTA." Chtěla bych divákovi, který se na dílo bude dívat, nechat jeho osobní pohled. Souhrnným názvem celého díla je "Stopa." Možná stopa, kterou jsem zanechala v polystyrenu, možná je to i moje stopa života. Na konci své práce jsem si uvědomila, že volba materiálu reflektuje vztah člověka k životu. Stejný jako byl pro mě zápas při procesu tvorby, je pro člověka život.Nikdy neví, co ho potká, co mu přijde do cesty, co ho může ovlivnit apod.. Nikdy neví, jak se situace vyvine, může to nějakým způsobem korigovat, ale nikdy to nejde do důsledku domyslet. S tím jsem se potýkala i já při své tvorbě, nikdy jsem vlastně nevěděla jaký bude výsledek mého snažení.

Abstract:

In the end I created a series of 10 polystyrene "paintings" which cover the topic of Footprint (painting as shoes, shoes as painting). Three paintings as (presenting) shoes were made. The first one was an oblong with two holes (the inside of a shoe), a white square with holes (shoe prints of a human) and black polystyrene with assembly foam with black acryl mixed with expanded pearlite (shoe prints and shoes turned backwards). The total amount of 5 paintings were created in the style of shoes as (presenting) a painting. The first one was a negative created by corroding the material through and the background painted with blue balakryl. The second painting is a merging of a white and a black polystyrene and a drawing of shoes. The third one presents a printed sole on a blue polystyrene which is supported by the background of a white polystyrene. The fourth one is created with polystyrenes differently painted with balakryl and glued together and merging of different color levels through a continuous corroding. The fifth painting is then a merging of the foreground and the background with a negative and a positive, then painted with balakryl connected with expanded pearlite and covered with black spray. The last categhory is called Shoes as a painting and Painting as shoes. It contains both titles simultaneously. Both formally and contentualy. It describes a pink polystyrene glued on a white one. It uses different compositions with pink polystyrene. This division is but merely a formal matter which is based on my revision after the work. I was not always creating paintings with a clear notion, what aspect would prevail in one or another, if it was going to be a "PAINTING" OR "SHOE." I would like to let the viewer decide himself when looking at the work. The main title of the whole work is "Imprint". Maybe an imprint i made in polystyren, maybe my mark of life. At the end of my work I realized that the choice of a materiál reflects the human relationship to life. The sturggle with my work is the same as a man's struggle with life. He never knows what might occur to him, what comes into his way, what can inspire him etc. He never knows how the situation might develop, he can try to direct it somehow, but can never fully think it through. It was my struggle, I never knew what might come out of my endeavour. Polystyrene for me also evokes the fragility of life, an easy disturbance and destructibility. The influence of a solvent on a materiál is the same as life choices which are irreversible and can greatly change our life. Shoes are a substitute symbol which seems very characteristic for the life path to me.
